The Month Without Blogging

I haven't really blogged since December 1st and for this there is no excuse.

Part of me wants to say I just haven't had very much to say, or I have been too busy.

This is far from the truth.

I have, in fact, written several different drafts, none of which have made the cut.

It appears that I am just being highly critical of my writing and am questioning whether or not it is worthy of the post button...

To be completely honest, over the past six weeks without posting all I have discovered is that no matter how much I think about doing something it will never just fall from the sky, land on my face, and wiggle around. I have to do something about it.

Which brings me to today.

For those who know me, you also know that I am a full time student taking math and science. As my marks at mid term surely reflected, I have not stopped blogging in an effort to get better grades. I seem to be lazy all around.

As mentioned previously, I don't believe in New Years resolutions. I like to pick a word and let it summarize who I want to be for an entire year. "Writer" didn't make the cut this year. Neither did anything else...

When I looked back at 2011 I realized that I am right on Target to be in this sort of funky mood. I also realized that once I addressed it I would overcome it.

So here I am, ready to stand up and kick my laziness in the balls.

I hope 2012 is treating you all with the awesomeness that you deserve.

Testing the Blogger Android App.

I have some of my best blog ideas when I am on the run - usually on the subway in the midst of morning rush hour - and by the time I get home at night the thought is gone, or is only half there. By then I am much too tired/busy/other stuff to actually utilize the "A/C" method of writing and put my A in the chair to write.

Today I found this nifty application for my phone brought to us by the wonderful people at Blogger, which is supposed to allow me to write and post whatever I want, from where ever I am.

This can be considered a test post. My fingers are crossed.
